BioSome could easily say that Darrell 'Shifty' Powers is a very quiet, almost shy young man. That is, of course, if they don't really know him. Having grown up in the hills of Virginia has given him a slow yet graceful mannor that seems almost out of place with the paratroopers of the 506th. Shifty is very modest when it comes to compliments, typically ducking his head and blushing- being quite quick to point out there may have been help involved or someone doing the same task better. The officers know when a task needs done they can turn to him without hesitation.
Within Easy Company Shifty is one of the few sharpshooters they have. His skills were learned as a child spotting squirrels in the upper trees of his mountain home. With the ability to find his target and eagle eyes, it has made him a valuable asset to the Company.
Shifty looks like most of the other men in his Company. Strong lean build with an air of confidence...even if he is a little shy. He has a winning smile set within a boyish face along with brown eyes that shine with life. No doubt, once he gets to know you, he can be the best friend a person can have. Generally his dark brown hair is kept combed back in the 40s army styles, but when out in the field things like that are overlooked. His uniform is typical to the Airborne men of D-Day with the m43 jump jacket and riggered pants along with the standard webgear, helmet, and m-1 garand rifle.
Right now it is between June 10th and June 14th for Shifty, somewhere close to Carentan, France.
